Kristin is the founder of Agape Seniors and a recreational therapist based in Huntsville, ON. She initially went to school for Therapeutic Recreation in North Bay, Ontario. She began working in a long term care home as an activity aide, mainly focusing with residents with dementia.  After several years, she found her way to Muskoka, where she became the Director of Recreation at a retirement home in Gravenhurst. She then obtained her post-graduate in Retirement Residence Management from Fanshawe College where she learned more about the aging population. After years of working in different areas of retirement and. long term care, it became evident that there needs to be more community support for the elderly who are aging at home. This is where Agape comes in!
